Communicating Seto. Hitotsuchi limited edition product
Seto City in Aichi Prefecture is a pottery production center with a history of over 1,000 years. It has produced a wide variety of pottery in large quantities, so much so that ceramics are now called " Setomono. " Thanks to the high-quality clay available, the area produces both earthenware and porcelain. The products produced are diverse, ranging from luxury items to everyday items, novelties for export overseas, architectural ceramics, insulators, and more, all in keeping with the times. This is a series of products that was started with the aim of conveying the craftsmanship of Seto.
This time, we worked with Seishin Tougei, one of Japan's leading cultivation kit manufacturers, to create a cultivation kit that makes the perfect souvenir from Seto.
What is the cultivation kit manufacturer "Seishin Tougei"?

Seishin Tougei is a valuable manufacturer of cultivation kits in Japan, which started out by producing statues of the Virgin Mary in 1960. After the war, as the number of kindergartens based on Christian teachings increased, Demand for the production of Virgin Mary statues increased, and the company subsequently began to develop new products.
Among the various products they came up with, in 1999 the head clerk at the time came up with the idea for a ceramic egg-shaped cultivation set, which was realized in collaboration with a pottery manufacturer in Seto, and became a huge hit. From there, they began their journey as a cultivation kit manufacturer, and now sell their products both domestically and internationally.
Based on the ideas of our in-house designers, we collaborate with various potteries and manufacturers in Seto and elsewhere to develop products. What we value is not only "growing plants" but also "nurturing the soul" through our manufacturing. In order to foster an exciting spirit, they offer an incredibly thorough service, offering a "full germination guarantee" - if the product does not sprout, they will continue to send out new sprouts.
Representative Iseya With Tomoaki Hiroka Kamata. The atmosphere in the company is very fun. Unique products are being created one after another.

About cultivation methods
Cultivation points
■Optimum germination temperature: 15-20℃
■ Sowing: Spring sowing (March to June) Autumn sowing (September to November)
■ Germination period: 1 to 3 months
1: First, moisten the potting soil.
Dig a hole about 1.5cm deep, equal to the number of seeds, sow one seed in each hole, then push in some soil around it and cover the seed with a little soil so that it is hidden.
After sowing the seeds, water them gently to ensure they adhere well to the soil.
Until germination occurs, keep the surface of the soil moist, avoid direct sunlight, and keep the seeds in a bright place suitable for cultivation.
*To prevent the soil from drying out, lightly covering it with plastic wrap or something similar will help the seeds germinate better.
Remove the wrap immediately after germination.
2: Germinate in a bright, warm place.
After germination, place the seeds in a sunny, well-ventilated location for at least half a day.
It is sensitive to heat, so keep it in a cool place. Water it thoroughly when the surface of the soil is dry.
* Please be careful when handling seeds and soil to prevent children and pets from accidentally putting them in their mouths.
* Do not use the seeds for food or feed.
* Growth and cultivation results will vary depending on the cultivation environment, such as weather conditions, region, and altitude.
* The cultivation period is only a guide. We recommend sowing seeds at the appropriate temperature and cultivating according to the region and conditions.
* Avoid sowing seeds in the middle of summer or winter, and choose a time that is easy to manage. (If the optimum temperature for germination and cultivation is not reached, the seeds may not germinate or may not grow well.)
* Until you begin cultivation, store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and humidity.
* Plants need sunlight to grow. Please grow them in a sunny location such as a balcony or near a window.
